Jadwalik provides a university schedule planning app. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Jadwalik you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account information: when you create an account we collect your email address, and if you provide them, your display name and profile picture.
- Sign-in information: if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the email address associated with that sign-in. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only receive Apple's private relay address.
- Schedule content: the courses, sections, and schedules you create or import, and your in-app preferences.
- Schedule images: images you choose to upload in order to import your schedule.
- Purchase information: a record of which credit packs or entitlements you have purchased. We never receive or store your payment card details.
- Usage and diagnostic data: basic technical information needed to operate the app and diagnose errors.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the app, sync your data across your devices, process your schedule imports, apply your purchases, and provide support.
AI Processing
When you import a schedule from an image, we send that image to our server and read it using Claude by Anthropic, an outside AI service. It picks out the courses, sections, days, times, rooms and instructors in the image. We send only the image and the instructions needed to read it — not your name, your email address, or your account identifier.
We do not keep the image. It passes through our server to be read and is never written to our database or our file storage. What we save to your account is the schedule details taken from it, so you can edit and reuse them.
Anthropic reads the image for us as a service provider. Under the Anthropic API terms that apply to us, Anthropic does not use these images, or what is extracted from them, to train its models, and deletes them within 30 days. It keeps them longer only if its automated safety systems flag the content, or if the law requires it.
We use uploaded images only to build your schedule. We never use them for advertising, and never to track you.
Data Storage and Security
Your account and schedule data are stored securely with industry-standard providers and protected by access controls. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Third-Party Service Providers
We rely on trusted outside providers to host our service, verify sign-in, handle purchases, and read the schedule images you upload: Supabase (hosting, accounts and data), Apple and Google (sign-in), Apple and RevenueCat (purchases), Anthropic (reading uploaded schedule images), and Google Firebase (anonymous usage statistics). Each of them handles your data only as far as needed to provide the service.
Purchases
Purchases are one-time and are processed by the Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We record only which purchases were applied to your account.
Your Rights and Choices
You can review and update your profile in the app. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deleting your account removes your account data.
Children's Privacy
Jadwalik is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
